Counseling Advisory Committee
The CAC committee meets quarterly thoughout the school year.

The Counseling Advisory Committee meets quarterly. During these meetings we discuss the school calendar, goals, events, staff morale, safety drills and ideas on how to improve parent involvement.
Use of Implementation Cycle: Our agenda includes ways we can improve the needs of our students. Data from needs assessment is analyzed and goals are shared and created during our meetings. For instance, we saw a need in self-regulation and ways to improve behavior. Daily morning meetings that target social and emotional needs was addressed. Teachers were given classroom calm-down bags to use in their calm down corners for self-regulation and implemented the character strong curriculum school wide in order to see an improvement in the areas of need.

Each Caldwell teacher received a calm-down bag with fidgets for students to use when they needed to self-regulate. The bags included a two-minute sand timer for students to use as a visual when they are calming down in the calm down corner.
