John Bruesch is a cross-country motorcycle touring enthusiast with 48 years of riding experience. He has served as Illinois state director, newsletter editor, and columnist for an international touring organization, and continues to participate actively in several clubs from his current home base of eastern Iowa. He and his 1975 Suzuki GT750 "Water Buffalo" achieved Vagabond status (48 states on two wheels) in 1987, and are currently going around again, having added State #49, Alaska and the Arctic Circle, in 2018.
Where the Buffalo Roams - The Art of Misadventuring is John's first book.
Busted! Misadventuring into the Last Frontier was published in 2024 and is available via this Google site only (for now).
John is working on an aviation travel-themed book as well, which should be available in 2025.
