Once a McGovern Ceili Dancers commits to taking part in performances and competitions, part of their costume is a wig.
This is a pretty good place to get your wigs, but not the only place, please check with your instructor prior to purchase of a wig to make sure it meets the costuming requirements.
Wigs for 11 and younger

These are the wigs to be worn by those 10 and under. Match the color to the color of your hair when it is pulled back. Not the ends of your hair.

Remember you dance shoes should be order 1.5 sizes smaller than your regular street shoe size since they are UK sizes. Ghillies should fit snug. You can choose whatever stye you like, however, they must be black, they must be only black leather (not patten leather, or embossed leather or anything else. I would go for the least expensive one when you are just starting out!
