Our vision at McDowell High School is that all students are productive learners who graduate with a plan for a successful future. As effective goal-setters, achievers, and life-long learners, the students at McDowell High School possess the tools and resilience to live productive lives as citizens and human beings in today’s society.
Our mission as the school counseling program at McDowell High School, is to provide students with a comprehensive program focused on helping them succeed in their academic, career, and personal lives. Through preventive and remedial support programs; academic and career planning; partnerships with parents, faculty, and other community members; and effective data analysis; the school counselors at McDowell High School will help all students become productive citizens and life-long learners.
