Community Order Respect Excellence

This is a school-wide program to promote positive behavior. Students who display positive behavior and/or academic success (displaying our C.O.R.E. values) will earn CORE cash. Students can then use their cash to buy candy or prizes each week.

Lion PRIDE

PRIDE Time (Proving Readiness in Determined Essential Skills)

This is a 30 minute block of time each day set aside for intervention, extra practice or enrichment for every student. Students will be in smaller groups based on their needs, possibly traveling to different teachers and/or rooms. PRIDE time is designed to help each student master the essentials skills in reading. Students who were unsuccessful on the Post-Test will meet in small, focus groups.

We do not have a list of classroom rules. The students are required to treat their school, adults, and their peers with respect at all times. If they are being respectful, then they are doing the right thing. It is the students’ responsibility to show respect by making good choices. Our class listed examples of how to be respectful. If students are doing these things, they are treating the school, all adults, and their peers with respect.

Student Consequences:

Students will receive a warning first. If the negative behavior continues, it will be documented and the student will lose out on privileges. Office Referrals will be filled out if behavior infractions continue and you will be notified.
