Vocational Rehabilitation (VR)

Description

Vocational Rehabilitation helps eligible individuals with disabilities to achieve their employment goals.  VR can provide help with the following:

• Exploring your employment interests and skills

• Helping you to find your first job

• Providing assistive technology or other services (ex. uniforms, drivers education, etc,) to help you keep your job

• Re-entering employment in the same or different type of employment

• Providing services necessary for career advancement

How do I get started? 

• Call and ask to get an intake appointment to get started! Or you can start a referral!

• Make sure you are clear on what supports your child needs when meeting with counselors at all stages of the process.

• Ask for a VR representative to come to the annual case review!
