VET Information

For Year 11 and 12 students who have a specific interest in industry areas, VET (Vocational Educational Training) courses are offered at Chisholm TAFE in Frankston, Rosebud and Dandenong, Holmesglen and a variety of schools on the Peninsula. *Please note that Materials Charges apply to all VET programs but the cost may differ according to the requirements of the program.

A $100 deposit is required at the time of course counselling if selecting VET.

VET Courses offered at school

At Year 10, we offer one in-house VET course so that we can help scaffold the learning and assist the students with their first taste of tertiary style education.

Students have a choice between completing Personal Futures or the VET option at Year 10: SES.

For Year 11 and 12 students who have a particular interest in business practices and are not yet prepared for an external TAFE course, we can offer an in-house VET course. 22480VIC Certificate II in Small Business (Operations/Innovation) is offered in partnership via auspicing with registered organization: Australian Institute of Education and Training RTO Number: 121314.

THIS OPTION MUST BE SELECTED AT COURSE COUNSELLING AND WE NEED AT LEAST 15 STUDENTS SIGNED UP TO RUN IT.
