Leadership and Advocacy
Mr. Abner Rodriguez is a vital member of the Seguin Leadership Team. She leads the Six Weeks EQ Ambassador recognition. Teachers select two students that are exhibiting the targeted Social Emotional Learning domain in the six weeks. The counselor contacts parents to notify them of their recognition. Students are given a shirt, and EQ lesson, and are photographed to post their recognition on social media. This activity promotes and encourages positive reinforcement school-wide.
