MBE and DIS have a collaboration to help students ship their chairs/project back home.
Summer of 2025: The following information is based on previous years and current transportation context to provide you with the best possible price and service.
Packing: DIS will be providing packing material so you can pack yourself, but if you wish that we take care of it we have an estimate of 500 DKK per chair (may vary depending on the size, see table below)
Shipping: We work with UPS and FedEx, transport is traceable and takes approximately 5-8 days + customs clearance. The following prices are for reference and consider the final packed dimensions.
If you have larger dimensions (volume) that the ones on the table below please write to us and we'll give you an estimate. (info+DIS@mbedenmark.dk )
If you with your classmate can send 2 chairs or more to the same address you may benefit of discounted price, write to us so we can give you an estimate ( info+DIS@mbedenmark.dk)
If you wish to add personal effects e.g.: clothes, shoes, books it can be done to better use the space inside the box, it has an additional fee of 200 DKK. due to the additional customs paperwork we have to go through.
Insurance: DIS will be providing insurance coverage for the students. Note: It is important that the chairs are packed to transport standard, otherwise damage claims can be denied due to insufficient packing. MBE will be giving guidance to the student that have chosen to pack themselves.
Relevant dates at DIS:
July 3rd, MBE will be present at DIS to assist and guide regarding packing of the chairs and shipping
July 25th, MBE will be present at DIS to assist and guide regarding packing of the chairs and shipping
July 30th, Collection of the chairs (packed or unpacked)
What we need from you to send your chair/items
Fill out the Destination address and contact details Form.
If you choose to place your clothing or personal belongings inside the box with the chair(s) and pack it. But in this case remember to follow the instructions here.

** Important : When you communicate with MBE and fill out the address form, always use the same email address and stick to the same thread to avoid any confusions.
