In 1925, a group of determined Martinsburg women raised $8,000 in just six months to establish a public library for their community. One hundred years later, the Martinsburg Public Library is still serving neighbors of all ages, and the Friends of the Martinsburg Public Library are proud to carry that legacy forward. The sponsors recognized on this page chose to be part of that story, and we could not be more grateful for their generosity and community spirit.
