One hundred years of community service calls for one extraordinary evening!
Step back in time to the decade when it all began, as the Martinsburg Public Library transforms into a Roaring Twenties Speakeasy, complete with a piano bar, dance hall, and back-room gambling parlor. Throw on your flapper dress, grab your fedora, and join us as we raise a glass to 100 years of library love in Martinsburg.
Your ticket includes a complimentary glass of champagne, one drink ticket, and heavy hors d'oeuvres by Brix 27. Enjoy Charleston dance lessons and live entertainment by the Ben Mauger Vintage 1920s Jazz Band, with Jordan Siwek at the piano taking requests and Tony M bringing the sounds of 1920s guitar jazz.
Come dressed to impress! Awards will be given for best attire! Feeling lucky? Try your hand at blackjack, craps, or roulette in our gaming parlor (play money only).

𧩠Childcare: Will be offered in the children's library during the event for children children 5 to 12 years old. The cost is $25.00 per child and can be purchased at the same time as a ticket. Spaces are Limited to 20 children.

In 1925, a group of determined Martinsburg women raised $8,000 in just six months to establish a public library for their community. One hundred years later, the Martinsburg Public Library is still going strong, and the Friends of the Martinsburg Public Library are proud to carry that legacy forward.
