Goal: All MAUSD students will build connections with local and global communities through authentic work that promotes citizenship and meaningful relationships.

All MAUSD students demonstrate a meaningful connection with global communities that reflects an understanding of commonalities among all people.

All MAUSD students promote citizenship through community service, stewardship, and participation in democracy.
The Work
MAUSD's community objectives focus on connecting our students and our organization to the resources and expertise that exist within our five-town community in order to build both local and global connections. We will need to audit current practices to identify gaps and needed resources, including the use of an effective monitoring and program evaluation plan, and respond with appropriate, authentic learning opportunities for our students and coaching and professional development for our faculty and staff.
