Section 5: Criminal Records Check

Criminal Records Check (CRC):

As of March 2017, everyone will have to have a CRC done specifically for the AOE files.
In other words, there is no longer an Authorization To Release Criminal Background Check option and the AOE will no longer accept transfer of your background check from the district office.
It is recommended that you wait until the renewals are released for notification from the AOE on how to proceed, what documents you will need, etc.
Once you have been notified by the AOE that you will need to have a CRC done, it is advisable to start the process asap.
