Employment Details
This is a critical step.
This section must be completed accurately in order to be linked to your LSB.
Please follow the directions below carefully.
Scroll down to save all new information entered into ALiS by clicking “OK” and “Save” before going to “Next”, or closing the window or logging out. NB: If you forget to do this, you’ll lose it. There is no prompt.
Make sure to fill in all the boxes with red asterisks. This is required information.
First, update your contact info, educational details, employment details and license info by selecting “Update Profile” from left menu on home page.
Make sure your primary email is the one that you check often! Use your personal email as primary and your school email as the alternate.
ESSENTIAL: Fill in the EMPLOYMENT DETAILS accurately.
NB: You have to click on the “Add” link (right side of that bar) to open window completely to add information. Filling in this section (Employment Details) is absolutely key to have you linked to your LSB, otherwise all of your PL documentations will go to the AOE instead of coming to us. This slows down the process considerably.
If you’ve already registered, log into ALiS & check the information in your Employment Details section, accessed through the Update Profile option in the menu.
IMPORTANT: From drop down menu
For Supervisory District: Choose Mount Abraham Unified District
For Employer: Choose your school Mount Abraham UMHSD #28 (School)
Critical steps in filling out Employment Details:
Check Continuing employment box and select your Start Date of your employment in the district.
DO NOT enter an End Date. If you do, you will not be linked to your LSB.
For FTE: enter 100 or whatever portion applies to you as a percentage, i.e. not as a decimal.
For Employment Code, from the drop-down menu, select the option that applies to your position as a teacher.
IMPORTANT: Fill in the Subject and Grade section right below (once again by clicking on the Add option to the right of that window to add that info). ONLY fill out the grade level you are CURRENTLY TEACHING!
