The LPDC Process
It is the responsibility of each staff member to be current with their LPDC materials.
1. Have an approved Individual Professional Development Plan (IPDP) on file with the LPDC.
2. Attend college courses, workshops, and other professional development activities in order to renew your teaching certificate/license.
If you are using workshop and activities other than coursework to renew your license, please provide the LPDC with a spreadsheet of such activities and the corresponding Certificate of Attendance (from non-MCS activities).
If using college coursework to renew your license, please provide the LPDC with an official transcript for the coursework that you are using to renew you license (The official transcript must be one that is not in your employment file at the Board Office)
3. When renewing a certificate/license, please complete a Final Requirement Checksheet (FRC) and supply the corresponding documentation/transcripts that you are using the renew.
