Confirmation

In 8th grade, Catholic students will be receiving the beautiful Sacrament of Confirmation! We will begin preparing at the beginning of the school year as part of our Religion Class studies.

Candidates at this point should have already confirmed which Saint/Bible figure they have chosen as their Confirmation Name. Candidates also should have already turned in their Confirmation Application, Confirmation fee, and their Sponsor's Eligibility Card from their parish. This is an exciting part of the 8th grade year and a wonderful, memorable step in the students' spiritual journey!  

Important Events 

**(attendance/participation is mandatory)**

Participation at Forty Hours: *Attendance Mandatory* 8th grade students will attend on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 @ 7pm (Upper Church)

Confirmation Parent Meeting: *Attendance Mandatory* Wednesday, November 12, 2025 @ 7pm (Lower Church), the speaker has asked that the students attend with their parent(s)

Inscription Rite of the Candidates: *Attendance Mandatory* Sunday, November 16, 2025 @ 9:30am Mass in Upper Church (all candidates absolutely must attend this special Mass along with their parents)

Confirmation Practice and Confession: (end of February and first two weeks of March)

Confirmation Retreat Day: Wednesday, March 11
