SmarterProctoring in Blackboard Ultra

SmarterProctoring is available in Ultra Courses as of June 8, 2023. Refer to these resources to use SmarterProctoring. 

There are some minor changes in how the test must be set up and how students will complete the test.

Instructor Setup Guide

Read the Instructor Setup Guide completely before you proceed. SmarterProctoring Exam sessions must be created directly in live semester shells.  If you are using a practice exam, please make sure to include the word “Practice” in the Blackboard test’s title. 

Student Instructions

Review and share the Student Instructions. This tool works slightly different from the student perspective in an Ultra Course. At this time, SmarterProctoring will take the student to the Ultra course, where the student will navigate to the test and click the "Inject Password" button to open the test.
