MS Office 365 - Free Versions for Faculty, Staff, and Students
Current employees and students may use their MATC Gmail accounts to register with Microsoft Office 365 in Education and access Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote for free. Once you have registered your MATC Gmail with Microsoft and created a password for your Microsoft Office access, log in at https://www.office.com with your MATC email address and Microsoft password.
When you are logged into Office 365, you may use the web-based versions of the software OR download full free versions of the software to your Windows or Mac computer. If you need MS Access, please download the 30-day free trial.
Resolving Microsoft Login Problems
If you have registered your MATC Gmail account with Microsoft Office 365 but cannot log in, follow these steps:
In your web browser, go to https://www.office.com. Click the "Sign In" button.
In the login form that appears, click on the "Can't Access Your Account" link.
In the options that appear, select "Work or School Account".
Complete the form that appears with your MATC Gmail account address and complete the CAPTCHA test. Click "Next".
On the page that appears, click on the "Contact Administrator" link. This will send a notification to MATC's Microsoft administrator.
A password reset email will arrive at your MATC Gmail account. Check your MATC Gmail forthis message. Use the provided temporary password to log into Microsoft Office 365 and choose a new password.
