HOW TO BUILD A HEALTHY KID
Students will be having Health class discussions & assignments in the Winter months to help balance out the Health and Physical Education Curriculum. We typically do half Health/half Ninja Gym classes in the Winter (Early January until March).
I feel a balance of mastering both Health and Physical Education and activities will greatly benefit the students
Health have several different definitions, but overall, Health is the state of being free from illness or injury.
Also, Health is the condition of being sound in body, mind, or spirit, especially free from physical disease or pain.
Students will understand fully what it is to be healthy and learn several practices on how to maintain their Health for a lifetime.
Students will learn four types of Health.
Mental, Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual
Students will complete fun and creative activities that will challenge their skills and to think for themselves!
The website we will be using to complete the various assignments will be on Kids Health
Aside from myself, our school Nurses, Nurse Renee and Nurse Amanda work "hand in hand" with me to help educate students on ways to take care of their bodies mentally and physically!
