What: Members from Rho Kappa's Rhizome will be presenting on the importance of voting and offering the opportunity for students to register themselves to vote. Attendees to the meeting will receive service event credit. Registering to vote is NOT required for credit. 

Bring you FL ID/ Driver's license if you plan to pre-register/ register to vote. 

When: April 15th, 2023; Time TBA

Where: Arch Creek Park - 1855 NE 135th St, North Miami Beach, FL 33181

What: Clean up and beautification of North Miami Beach's Arch Creek Park. This is a friends and family event. Participants will get service event credit and community service hours for participating.

When: April 29th, 2023; Two sessions: 8:30 -11:30 PM or 1:30 -4:30 PM 

Where: Feeding South Florida Pembroke Park - 2501 SW 32nd Terrace, Pembroke Park, FL 33023

What: Inspect, Sort, and Pack donated food items for the food insecure in South Florida. Participants will get service event credit and community service hoursfor participating. Space is limited to 19 participants per session. Sign up and waiver is required. 

Complete the linked Google form to register. First come, first serve. Once spots fill up for both sessions, the form will close. The week before the event, Mrs. Ellis will reach out to confirm your attendance and send you the waiver. 

When: Month of April - All month long

Where: Recycling receptacle is in Room 1206. Check in with Ms. Ellis for service event credit. 

What: Recycle rather than throw away your used up or replaced eye care items. Contact lens cases, solution bottles, and eye drop bottles will be accepted. 

Service event credit only. Only one item needed for credit.
