i) Webinar should include positive and accurate information
Only take information from credible sources.
If stating personal advice, make sure it is constructive and positive in nature.
Refrain from discussing controversial or negative subjects- remember, you are representing NHS!
ii) Presentation must be 5-10 minutes max
There is no limit on the number of slides, but you must fit everything into the 5-10 minute time slot your team is alloted.
iii) You will be required to log all hours spent on this project
Members can be awarded up to 8 hours per person per group.
There is a minimum qualification time of 5 hours. This means that members in each group can get 5-8 hours of community service per webinar that they create and present.
iv) Participants must present webinar to committee a week before presentation
We need to ensure that the information you put out is of good quality, so you must give a test-run presentation before you officially present the webinar.
v) Webinars will be recorded and posted on NHS website
Put out good quality content that will be featured on our site long-term!
Only volunteer to lead a webinar if you’re comfortable with being recorded and posted.
vi) Webinars will occur during select lunch times.
Make sure your group has the same lunch schedule on the day you will be presenting to avoid scheduling conflicts.
vii) Group Composition
Webinars can be created and presented by 1-3 members per group.
viii) Live vs. Pre-Recorded
Your group is allowed to either present your webinar live or pre-record your presentation.
If you choose to pre-record your webinar:
Your group must still be in attendance while it is being presented so you may answer any questions students may have
You must still present your webinar to the committee for approval a week before the official presentation
