At the end of each day in October, participants will be able to pick up their Certificate of Attendance as evidence of their participation at the conference to their supervisor(s). These are not Professional Development Points (PDPs) certificates
Certificates of Attendance will become available at 3:15 p.m. (each day) at the Registration/Check-in table near the main lobby of the Cape Codder.
However, if you are attending both days of the conference in October, and you have completed seven (7) of the workshop surveys, you will be eligible to receive ten (10) Professional Development Points certificate, which will be emailed to you.
IMPORTANT! If you are interested in obtaining ten (10) Professional Development Points, or PDPs, please complete the Request PDP Form (http://tiny.cc/pdp-request) before the close of the conference.
There are a number of ways to obtain ten (10) Professional Development Points, or PDPs:
Attend both days, October 22 and 23, 2023, of the fall conference and complete the workshop evaluation surveys for at least seven (7) of the workshops participated in October; That’s all!
or
If you attend one (1) day — either Sunday(October 22) or Monday (October 23):
Complete the workshop evaluation surveys for the three workshops you participated in.
Develop an annotated lesson plan using the contents from the workshop sessions you participated and submit your lesson plan(s) in the folder: Lesson plans
Create a new folder and name the folder with your first initial and last name
Upload your lesson plans and resource materials in your folder
Be sure to include credits to the workshops you attended
Lesson plans are due no later than December 1, 2023.
or
Attend the on-site workshop on November 7, 2023, and complete the assigned work as directed by the host presenters and complete the workshop evaluation form provided.

Explaining to educators about the lesson you developed and how this lesson will make students become a better
Learner,
Human being, and
Citizen.
Reflecting on the workshops you participated in and what inspired you to use the contents and strategies that were introduced or addressed in the workshops in your lesson.
Identifying the content topic standards, History and Social Science practice standards, and standards for literacy in reading, writing, speaking and listening.
