Whip Lash, Bells Palsy, Asthma, Arthritis, Cancer, Motor Neurone, Parkinson’s, Dementia, Haemophilia, Epilepsy, Slipped Disc, Pregnancy, Diabetes,
Acute Rheumatoid. Arthritis, Medical Oedema, Nervous condition, Psychotic condition, Multiple sclerosis, Cervical spondylitis, Prostural deformities
Spastic condition, Kidney infections, Cardio vascular conditions.
Contraindications that restrict treatment - We require a Letter of Informed consent signed by Client and or written permission required by GP/Specialist. Fever, Cuts, Bruises, Sun Burn, Abrasions, Hernia, Gastric Ulcers, After heavy meal, Hormonal implant, Any Implants, Anxiety, Depression, Any mental health Second Trimester, Third Trimester, Conditions affecting the neck, haematoma, Menstruation, Recent Fractures, Scar tissue last 2 years after major surgery, Scar tissue last 6 months for minor surgery, under influence of alcohol & or drugs.

Your first appointment we work together towards a treatment plan for you. This will allow time to have a comfort break, as well as getting used to new surroundings prior to the beginning of any treatment, as well as filling out our forms and signing them in front of your massage therapist.
The best treatments comes from honest communication. Please make sure to inform us of the areas of your body if injured, tense or sore. Also mention and indicate on our consultation form any medical conditions - refer to contraindications page as from time to time we do have extra forms that may require a Doctor/specialist request for permission to have a massage if for any reason this is the case we will provide you with this in advance to any treatments we may offer and will therefore only proceed with treatment once forms are completed by the relevant practitioner.
Clients under 18 years of age, we may allow them to receive a massage with a few extra conditions being - they will have to attend all massage therapy session/s with a parent/legal guardian/adult family member/ authorised carer over the age of eighteen years old - adult present in the room and a same gendered Massage Therapist together with the consent forms signed by parent/legal guardian/adult family member/ authorised carer (documentation will be required), in the presence of your massage therapist before treatment. Under no circumstance will any paper work that requires a parent/legal guardian/adult family member/ authorised carer signature be accepted if the signature was acquired without the presence of the Therapist in person and proof of ID will be required.
All records are kept in strict confidence and secured. If at any time a client no longer requires our services and no longer wants us to keep their records they may request for all their paper work through writing a letter to advise ourselves of what they request. Other wise we follow the procedure recommended in the Data Protection Act and keep your records for at least 7 years from the date of the last treatment.

For the comfort and enjoyment of all our clients at Massage Guru we have a " switch off" policy for mobile phones from the time you walk into the premises until you leave - as we like to keep the calm and tranquil peace flowing for your experience. As we are sure you may understand this is for your own personal peace of mind and the balance of tranquillity and harmony having no interruptions brings a good calm equilibrium to ones well being.
Also offered for our clients to unwind is the hydro massage,. When our clients take up this opportunity they do so under their own validation.
Payment : after booking your appointment, payment is required on or before date advised. Once payment has been received a confirmation will be sent. If you are unable to attend your appointment we will require 48 hours notice to help you reschedule.
