Second Semester 25-26 Credit Flex Application is now OPEN! Deadline to apply is by 11:59pm on DECEMBER 1st!
Students may choose to demonstrate mastery of course content by passing a comprehensive course exam with 85% or higher and by demonstrating their ability to apply knowledge and concepts.

Upon approval of a Mastery Assessment Credit Flex Plan, testing dates and timelines will be determined by the Credit Flexibility administrator - please communicate directly with Mr. Powell to determine timelines. PowellJav@masonohioschools.com
Students will be given one attempt to demonstrate proficiency.
Depending on the content, students demonstrating 85% or greater master on the exam may also be asked to complete a project/problem-based assessment designed to prove their ability to apply their knowledge.
If there is no Mastery Assessment or AP exam available for a requested course at the time of the application, the District will determine if it can meet the request. In cases where Mason does not have the capacity to generate an assessment, students will be encouraged to select another Credit Flex option for the course.
