Mason City Schools uses both SwiftK12 / Alert Solutions and Powerschool to send emails to parents/guardians of their students. Teachers or administrators may also send direct emails to parents/guardians using their school email address. We HIGHLY recommend that you create TWO email filters in any and all of your email accounts to ensure that these emails arrive in your inbox.
Filters To Create:
@masoncityschools.org
swiftreach.com (don't enter the @ symbol for this one)
This way, all emails with @masoncityschools.org OR swiftreach.com (used by SwiftK12) in the address will "get through" to you so that you can stay informed when emails are sent out.
To view directions on how a filter can be set up for an email account see below. The Black titles have the directions directly below and the blue titles will link to an external site with directions. If you have different types of email accounts on record with the school district, you will need to create BOTH filters in each type of email account that you use.
DON'T SEE YOUR EMAIL TYPE BELOW?? If your email service is not listed below, you may need to contact your provider for directions on how to set up a filter for the @masoncityschools.org domain. It is possible that those directions could be found by doing an internet search as well.
