We learn by creating, responding, and performing in sixth grade music. We explore many concepts to make us well rounded musicians. We will even draw to music. We have a lot of fun in music class! We end the year by creating a song for summer on the iPads.

Similar to sixth grade, we learn by creating, responding, and performing. We expand our knowledge of musical concepts and apply it to various examples and projects. We conclude the year by creating music for what students think music of planet Earth might sound like.

In eighth grade music, we take the concepts from sixth and seventh grade and expand in different music fields. We create music for movie scenes, learn about musicals, write a song, and more. We end the year with breaking down the musical themes of The Phantom of the Opera.

This music class meets every day for half a year.
