Mechanicsburg Middle School is home to three curricular choirs that meet during the school day. These choirs are separated by grade level and involve over 250 students.

Outside the school day, MMS has two extra-curricular choirs that meet before school that students may participate in. Those groups are listed below.

Chamber Chorus: under Mrs. Hildebrand. This is a non-auditioned group for any sixth grade students wanting to gain more singing experience. They meet Wednesday and Friday mornings before school. 

Select Ensemble: under Mr. Murphy. This is an auditioned group for seventh and eighth grade singers. In the fall, students must complete an audition to be in consideration for the group. The audition typically entails singing "America" acapella, vocalizing for range, and pitch matching exercises. Students are scored using a rubric.
