MASD Elementary School Counseling
Virtual Calming Room
There are times when we need to give ourselves permission to feel.
To find a space. To be at peace, and, a place to be calm.
Virtual Calming Room
There are times when we need to give ourselves permission to feel.
To find a space. To be at peace, and, a place to be calm.
This Virtual Calming Room is a place for students, families and staff to find tools and strategies for managing emotions and feelings and building our resilience. We created this site to give you a virtual space that you could turn to when you need a break, or just want to spend some time rejuvenating.
The MASD Elementary School Counselors want you to know that your feelings are valid, no matter what they are. You might feel scared or confused, overwhelmed or worried, angry or alone, happy or thankful, grateful or completely calm. Or, more than one of these at the same time. Your feelings are normal. Don't forget to take care of yourself and the ones you love.
