The Pepper Challenge

ARE YOU UP TO THE CHALLENGE?

Last year, we created the “LEARN Pepper Challenge” as part of some Science we were doing at the time. This year, we’ve put a little more planning in to it but it still has the same premise: get students to learn a bit about how to grow plants. The challenge is simple: pick your peppers, plant them, grow them.

This is a challenge, so there are prizes!!! If your plant germinates first, you get a prize. If you have the best survival rate (% of planted seeds to final growth %), you get a prize. If you have the “best in show”, you get a prize. You can plant more than 1 seed and more than 1 variety of pepper and you can take your peppers with you at the end (if you want).
