9-12 Highlights

MASH TSA teams took away three firsts, one second, and two thirds at the regional competition in February.

AP Spanish students created infographics to teach others about a social cause. They included a voice recording of their own perspectives on the issue and linked to it via a QR code. Students in other Spanish classes read and listened to their work.

Health students created their own digital breakouts to teach classmates about specific diseases and how they impact various body systems.

Trig students collaborated with a class in Uganda to solve a challenging problem.

Empowered learners organized a spaghetti dinner to raise funds to help the Cheery Centre add 7th and 8th grades to their school in Kenya. The dinner raised over $6,000 for the school.

As a final assessment project, Foods students created their own cooking videos.
