Dance

MISSION: To develop a continued passion for the art and physical nature of dance with the understanding that all participants come to the program with a unique set of skills, and experiences. The goal is to help each dancer understand the beauty of their individual dance journey, while recognizing that the heart of a dancer comes in many different bodies and styles. The MRHS dance academy will offer technical training in a wide variety of classical and contemporary styles of dance with an added focus on developing the creative process of choreography. Students will also learn to take care of and strengthen their bodies through fitness for dancers.
