The Respectful Relationships framework supports schools and early childhood settings to promote and model respect, positive attitudes and behaviours. It teaches our children how to build healthy relationships, resilience and confidence.
Respectful relationships are built when students have opportunities to learn about self-management, relationships, decision-making, problem-solving, ethics and positive gender relations. Building respectful relationships relies on students having opportunities for social and emotional learning in the following areas:-
Emotional Literacy
Personal Strengths
Positive Coping
Problem Solving
Stress Management
Help-seeking
Gender and identity
Positive gender relations
Lessons based on these topics are incorporated into our weekly wellbeing classes.
