This summer, we're utilizing Beanstack for activity submissions. Beanstack is an online reading tracker platform designed to foster and reinforce regular reading habits. It provides opportunities for reflection through assigned activities within each reading challenge.
Students can access Beanstack via the desktop version or by downloading the app to track their progress and complete activities. In August, Foundations House Leaders and high school advisors will receive their students' responses for use in a culminating homeroom activity. It's expected that every student completes the activities.
To utilize Beanstack, students will log in using the SSO (Single Sign On) with their @marist.com email Google credentials. New students will receive their @marist.com email address and password upon receipt of their laptop. If you're unsure of your email address or laptop pickup date, please contact Help Desk at helpdesk@marist.com.
Our Beanstack URL is marist.beanstack.com. Upon logging in successfully, select the reading challenge to complete your activities. Incoming seventh graders must complete two mandatory reading challenges: our all-school challenge and the "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens" challenge. The BINGO challenge is optional, allowing students to earn virtual tickets for submission into prize buckets.
While the reading challenge platform is user-friendly, assistance is available from Ms. Williams, Marist School Librarian, or through the Beanstack Help Center and tutorials listed below.
