Tentative Schedule

Friday, 10/17 – Sunday, 10/26

Friday, 10/17

3:40 pm - Arrival to airport DL195

5:00 pm - Welcome reception on campus – Ivy Street Lobby - BBQ Dinner

7:30 pm - Attend home football game - tickets for exchange students provided by Marist

Saturday, 10/18 – Sunday 10/19

Time with individual families 

Ideas: fall festivals, mountain drives/hikes, haunted houses or Halloween events, shopping, etc. 

Monday, 10/20

8:00 am - Welcome breakfast for Barcelona guests - Host students escort exchange students to Immersive theater for breakfast

Exchange students - Campus Tick or Treat Tour, Campus Shop Visit, Spanish class discussion

4th  period - Host students pick up exchange students from C315 for 4th period class and lunch

5th   period - Host students escort exchange students to C315.  Art project with Mrs. Hope Smith

6th period – Host students pick up exchange students from Ceramics Studio for 6th period class

Tuesday, 10/21

Atlanta touring day – Aquarium and World of Coke, Lunch at Johnny Rocket's Diner

8:00 am - Host students escort exchange students to C315 

3:00 pm - Exchange students return from field trip.  Host students pick up from C315

Wednesday, 10/22

Atlanta touring day – MLK Center and College Football Hall of Fame, Lunch at Chick-Fil-A

9:00 am - Host students escort exchange students to C315 

3:00 pm - Exchange students return from field trip.  Host students pick up from C315

Thursday, 10/23

Atlanta touring day - Stone Mountain hike and lunch out, VR in Immersive Theater

8:00 am - Host students escort exchange students to C315 

3:00 pm - Exchange students return from field trip.  Host students pick up from C315

Friday, 10/24

3rd period - class with host student

Activity Period - Host and exchange student activity - Dodgeball and snacks in Kuhrt Gym

4th period - class with host students 

5th period - Host students bring exchange students to Mr. Michaud's class, exchange students will eat during late lunch in C315

6th period - Presentations to Spanish classes – Ivy Lecture Hall

Pep rally 

Friday Evening - Homecoming game - Marist will provide tickets for exchange students

Saturday, 10/25

Time with families 

Homecoming dance - Marist will provide tickets to the dance for exchange students.  Tickets will be listed under host students' names at dance ticket table

Sunday,10/26

Time with families 

1:00pm - Meet at Marist to take buses to airport
