The purpose of this educational travel experience to Iceland offers students an unparalleled opportunity to explore the country's extraordinary landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and groundbreaking sustainability efforts. Over eight immersive days, students will learn about Iceland’s unique geological features, including glaciers, geysers, waterfalls, and volcanoes. They will gain firsthand insight into renewable energy innovations at the Hellisheidi Power Station, witness the impact of climate change during a guided glacier hike, and explore sustainable agricultural practices at the Friðheimar greenhouse.
Through interactions with Iceland’s natural wonders, historical landmarks, and scientific advancements, students will deepen their understanding of environmental stewardship and global sustainability.
