Create Your Own Field Day for your Family - Mr. Haney gave you 5 ideas that you can use to create your personnel field day, or you can create activities for your families! Challenge your siblings, your parents or challenge yourself and have fun! MISSION: TARGET PRACTICE

Using materials you find outside, or around your house build something that can launch a tennis ball, a water balloon or any other objet onto a target 10 ft. away. Make sure to follow Mr. Radloff's rules and post your contraption on FlipGrid!

MISSION: TABLE TOP TEAMS

Do you love sports? Do you love being innovative? If you answered yes to either of the questions above this mission is for you! Create a table top version of your favorite sport. MISSION: TRANSLATE ME

Learn a new language for a week and record yourself for 30-60 seconds saying the phrases and words you learned. Use duolingo. Post yourself using some of the new phrases you learned on FlipGrid!!

MISSION: FAMILY FLAG

Flags are an important symbol of countries and states across the world. Flags often describe in their colors and design the history and the present day of the countries. Your challenge this week is to create your own flag! What do your favorite colors, animals, hobbies say about you? Use the Create Your Own Family Flag Template to create your own flag or use paper and materials around your house! We are excited to see your flags! Post your newly created family flag on FlipGrid!

MISSION: MARVEL MAKER

Create a comic about something that has happened in your family during quarantine! You can make a one panel comic, a three panel comic or create your own new series. Terri Libenson (www.terrilibenson.com) has some awesome resources to hep you on her website! You will need to write the script, design the scenes and watch your comic come to life! Post your hilarious, meaningful, or sad comic to our FlipGrid!

MISSION: RUBE GOLDBERG CONTRAPTION

Group Task: Your task is to design and construct a Rube Goldberg machine using at least 3 simple machines, which include pulley, lever, wedge, screw, wheel and axle, and inclined plane) and at least 2 energy transfers to successfully complete an “end task.” For example, your machine can:

• Pour water into a cup;

• Shut off an alarm clock;

• Put toothpaste on a toothbrush;

• Hit play on your iPod;

• Put coins into a bank;

• Ring a bell; or

• Any number of things you could think of on your own.
