Students will have the opportunity to learn about the GUTS (insides) of a computer and upcycle some old computer parts!
Hour of Code Certificates: You can enter students names all at once and then it will give you individual certificates to print
Hour of Code at Code.org - Choose the Grade 2-5 tab to filter and then filter no computer or technology on the left side.

Create a choose your own adventure - optional extension is learn how to use google forms to make an online version of your adventure
Emotion Machine Activity: Code a paper robot to display emotions
Move it, Move it- student practice 'programming' each other (could start with a bit of the Happy Maps lesson which introduces what an algorithm is)
If, Then (Conditionals) - you can easily do this without the materials. The Kodable app that is supposed to go with this no longer allows you to go to Sequence and Conditioning BUT kids can start at the beginning and get to the sequencing and conditioning level.
