Curriculum

I collaborate with 7th and 8th-grade teachers throughout the year to create lessons with specific developmentally appropriate content which is on target with students' needs.  These lessons initiate discussion on topics related to the skills they need in order to be successful in school and in life.

This instruction, which is skill-based and developmentally appropriate, covers the following areas:

• High School Transition Activities

• Career Exploration

• Study Skills

• Building Empathy and Kindness

• Problem Solving/Conflict resolution

• Anxiety and Stress Coping Strategies
