The residential camping program at Kangaroobie aims to improve students' understanding of rural environments via the Farm Activities Program. Teamwork and self-development are a strong focus at Kangaroobie and a number of activities provide opportunities for these to be developed in an experiential way (e.g. Obstacle Course and Canoeing). The varied environments around the camp provide opportunities for studies in Geography and Biology. An Indigenous activity gives students a greater understanding of the Traditional Owners of the land on which Kangaroobie stands. Tower Hill staff guide students on a range of topics including music and language, traditional games, hunting and gathering.
