The inquiry learning is around Ecosystems - Habitats. We will be focussing on our local taiao (moana and ngahere). We will also focus on areas within our kura too and explore the habitats that are around us every day.
Kōwhai class kids will be learning about different habitats, the organisms that live within the habitats, how they interact with each other.
Children will be creating artwork, reading books, writing and engaging in a range of activities centred around the inquiry focus for this term.
Our inquiry learning will link with our Te Reo Māori learning consistently throughout the term as well.
