Pickup is promptly at 4:45 pm in the front lobby. A late fee will be incurred for any late pick-ups.
It is recommended to pack your child an afternoon snack, as most clubs allow time to eat while students are filing in and attendance is being taken.
After School Program Coordinator is Jami Morrison; jmorrison@mandeljds.org.
Please note the dates of “No Class” for each activity. While most activities align with our school calendar, some activities run on a different schedule. Jami recommends adding the “No Class” dates to your personal calendar.
Give your child the opportunity to build confidence, develop practical self-defense skills, and have fun in a positive, supportive environment. This 16-week after-school martial arts program introduces students to the fundamentals of striking and grappling through age-appropriate instruction that emphasizes safety, discipline, and personal growth. Students will learn foundational techniques including proper stance and movement, punches, kicks, footwork, partner drills, basic grappling concepts, and self-defense skills—all taught in a controlled, respectful setting. Alongside the physical and fitness aspects of training, we emphasize respect, teamwork, cooperation, self-control, and good sportsmanship. Whether your child is new to martial arts or has previous experience, every student will be encouraged to learn, grow, and support one another in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Payment will be collected by the instructor on the first day of class. Please be sure to send your child with cash or a check.
