Pickup is promptly at 4:45 pm in the front lobby. A late fee will be incurred for any late pick-ups.
It is recommended to pack your child an afternoon snack, as most clubs allow time to eat while students are filing in and attendance is being taken.
After School Program Coordinator is Jami Morrison; jmorrison@mandeljds.org.
Please note the dates of “No Class” for each activity. While most activities align with our school calendar, some activities run on a different schedule. Jami recommends adding the “No Class” dates to your personal calendar.
Go is one of the world's oldest strategy games, with simple rules that take just minutes to learn but a lifetime to master. Using only black and white stones, players build territory, solve problems, and develop strategic thinking, patience, and creativity. Kids who enjoy chess, puzzles, or challenging games will love discovering the depth of Go. In this club, students will learn through hands-on games, fun puzzles, and friendly matches while building confidence as strategic thinkers. Every student will receive their own Go game set to bring to and from class each week. The set is theirs to keep, giving them a timeless game they can enjoy with family and friends for years to come.
Payment will be collected by the instructor on the first day of class. Please be sure to send your child with cash or a check made out to Joel Gabelman. You can also make payment through Venmo: @Joel-Gabelman. If you are paying by Venmo, please include your child's first and last name!
