Peer Leaders
A Peer Leader is a positive role model for peers that helps create a safe, respectful, and welcoming school environment.
This year, our school community faces distinct challenges as we continue transitioning from a hybrid and remote model to one where our students are fully in school. Peer Leaders help to support all middle school students. Peer Leaders will have multiple responsibilities at Hommocks Middle School, including but not limited to:
Promoting messages of respect and reinforcing middle school expectations
Mentoring and connecting with our 6th grade students throughout the school year as needed
Serve as leaders in planning activities for all students

Applications for the Peer Leader Program are currently closed but will reopen for the 23-24 school year.
