Life has a Story

Life is a book

And every living thing has its own chapter.

While you may never get the chance to read it,

you can still sit and wonder...

"At Work"

"Fast"

"Calling"

"Trapped"

"Freedom"

Depth of Field

Following in the Footsteps of Anna Atkins

One Bloom growing off a branch is captured in time

Is in reality, the end of an evergreen branch laying above a stray trail of water.

An Arrangement of a flower and flowers lies together

Made by laying petals and stems together carefully.

Bagonia Maculata

My attempt at Anna Atkins' documentation style of plants using cyanotypes

Anna Atkins

Born in 1799, she was the first person to create a book of photographs and is considered the first woman photographer.

Her work primarily consisted of cyanotypes of plants, which print the silhouette onto a piece of paper using potassium ferricyanide and ammonium citrate.
