The Five Stages of Heartbreak

On May 14, 2021, "good 4 u" by Olivia Rodrigo was released, completing a trio of Billboard-topping singles that embodied the first three stages of Heartbreak: Denial, Pain, and Anger. I for one have never been heartbroken, but Olivia Rodrigo's Music was so fresh and inspiring that it gave me the idea to do a photo essay based on the 5 Stages of Heartbreak. I presented this story through an Instagram account, @brok3nheartsyndrome, where I shared the photos to tell the story of a girl's journey through heartbreak. The following photos are from this project.
