Since the Baseline Assessment is conducted one-on-one with volunteers and students, it’s important to keep the rest of the class engaged and calm.
What You Can Do:
🎨 Provide drawing sheets, puzzles, or simple activity worksheets to other children while individual assessments are happening.
🤫 Encourage activities that are quiet and independent to maintain a focused and peaceful environment.
👀 Use this time to observe classroom dynamics and note any additional support some students might need.
Why This Matters:
✔️ Helps maintain order and minimizes distractions during the assessment.
✔️ Keeps all students meaningfully engaged even when they are not being assessed.
✔️ Creates a smooth flow so volunteers can focus fully on each individual student without interruptions.
