ACTION STEP #1: Complete CCPS (Centralized Clinical Placement System)
Instructions if you are NEW to CCPS (skip down the page to the next bold heading if you have done CCPS previously)
You will register as a new student user with your @maine.edu account. Review the Detailed Instructions listed on the page - For students certifying for the first time
The site will guide you through completing four education modules. Each module consists of information to read and then a module quiz. These modules may take you several hours to complete, but you can leave and return, doing this in smaller chunks of time if you need to. You must complete all four module quizzes.
Once you have completed all four module quizzes you'll see a page with a blue box at the bottom. In the blue box click on "click here to add an assignment to the list".
Fill in the information about your clinical assignment. You can leave the "click here if this is a precepted assignment" box empty. Then submit the form.
Now you will see a page with MMC information. At the bottom of the page highlighted in yellow is a link "Maine Medical Center". Click on it.
Proceed to ACTION STEP #2.
