Learning English for Academic Purposes (LEAP)
Getting started with writing and research can be a daunting step. LEAP can help you get organized and learn new strategies to keep your writing projects on track and on time.
The Augusta Writing Center supports writers and fosters a culture of writing at UMA, both in person in the Katz Library, and online.
The Bangor Writing Center supports the UMA community with their writing projects by offering one-to-one distance and in-person tutoring, and context-specific writing resources.
The UMA Library has 3 locations: Augusta, Bangor, and online. Librarians are available to help you choose a research topic, help you find, access, and evaluate sources.
