EXPERIENTIAL MODULE
I completed my Master's program under the advising of Dr. Alexander Lapidus and Dr. McGovern
During my program, I followed WIDA, Common Core and TESOL International Association Standards to create lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
My TESOL Practicum is aligned with the TESOL International Association Standards.
In this lesson, I used language fundamentals by focusing on understanding the structure, grammar, and usage of adverbs. Through engaging examples and activities, students learned the various types and functions of adverbs, equipping themselves with essential language tools for clear and expressive communication.
For my Experiential Module, I wanted to create a lesson plan and unit plan that would be helpful for teachers struggling to decide what to incorporate into a curriculum. Therefore, I decided to create a Lesson Plan & Unit on Glocalization
Glocalization refers to the integration of global and local elements in language teaching and learning.
It involves recognizing the importance of both global English language standards and local cultural contexts.
