1. 運用不一樣的技巧教閱讀 的確能達到不同的效果
2. 先讓學生看圖片 想關聯的單字 讓學生看完DVD 請他們邊寫下當中的同類型字 然後再請他們重新跟著老師ㄧ起確認DVD中所有的同類型字是否有遺漏
3. 每次看DVD或聽力時 記得一定要重複兩次以上哦

101學年度 台北康橋雙語學校參訪

這次的研習車程來回就花了快六小時 真正看到的點不多 倒是看到貴族學校的投資 除了中文課 其他都是請外師全英文教學 班級人數少 (但學費嚇人啊) 風光明媚 學生的英文程度果然不錯 走道上可聽到學生英文互相溝通 (還很巧遇到去年在惠文的外籍老師 Dylan Taylor )沒有這樣的設備和師資 希望靠我小小力量 也能發揮大大作用啦

The Mouse, the Cheese, and the Father.

There is a mouse named Micky. In the corner is a hole. Mickey looks through the hole, but nobody is in it. This is a cupboard. In the cupboard is a little plate with cheese. The mouse says, "I'm hungry. I want to eat the cheese." Then the mouse Micky eats the cheese. Mickey says, "I'm full. I want to sleep." Here comes a father. "I am hungry. I want to eat the cheese" He takes out the plate and looks. Ah..... he runs away. Why does he run away? Because he is so scared.

The Candy From the Floor.

The little boy loves candy very much. There is a lollipop on the ground. Is it for me? The little boy picks it up and puts it into his mouth. Yummy.... Then he licks the lollipop again and again. Then here comes his sister. The sister says, "Never eat the candy from the floor." The little boy says, "It's not your business." A few minutes later, the hair comes out of the little boy's leg. The little boy says, "Oh, no. What's wrong? What can I do?" The sister says, "Never eat the candy from the floor." Then the hair comes out of the little boy's hand, ........

Mr. Carter's Coat

Mr. Carter likes nice clothes. He has no money. What can he do without money? Luckily, he's got a new beautiful coat. He is so happy. He puts it on every day. One day, the coat is old, but Mr. Carter doesn't want to waste. Should he throw it away? No, don't waste. He has scissors. He says, "Don't throw it away. I can change it." So he makes the coat into a sweater. He puts the sweater on every day. One day, the sweater is old, but Mr. Carter doesn't want to waste. Should he throw it away? No, don't waste. He has scissors. He says, "Don't throw it away. I can change it." So he makes the sweater into a vest. One day, the vest is old, but Mr. Carter doesn't want to waste. Should he throw it away? No, don't waste. He has scissors. He says, "Don't throw it away, I can change it." So he makes the vest into a cap. One day, the sweater is old, but Mr. Carter doesn't want to waste. Should he throw it away? No, don't waste. he has scissors. He says, "Don't throw it away. I can change it." So he makes the cap into a bow tie. One day, the bow tie is old, but Mr. Carter doesn't want to waste. Should he throw it away? NO, don't waste. he has scissors. He says, "Don't throw it away. I can change it." So he makes the bow tie intot a button. One day, the button is old, but Mr. Carter doesn't want to waste. Should he throw it away? No, don't waste. He has scissors. he says, "Don't throw it away, I can change it." So what can he do this time?

The Sun is Yellow

Why is the sun yellow? It wasn't yellow before. It was because it ate the lollipop. In the past, everything in the world was red. The boy was red, the girl was red, the tree was red, the grass was red, the birds were red because the sun was red. But it wasn't pretty. So the red boy gave the yellow lollipop to the red sun. The next day, the sun turned into a blue one. And then the boy was blue, the girl was blue, the tree was blue, the grass was blue, and the birds were blue. Does it look pretty? No, it was too dark. So the sun turned into a green one. Then, the boy was green, the girl was green, the tree was green, the grass was green, and the birds were green. Does it look pretty? No, it was not beautiful. So the sun turned into a black one. Then, the boy was black, the girl was black, the tree was black, the grass was black, and the birds were green. Does it look pretty? No, we couldn't see anything. So the sun turned into a yellow one. Wow......

Mr. Black and Mr. Brown(手指故事 可教第三人稱單數動詞)

Mr. Black and Mr. Brown are good friends, but they live far away from each other. There are many hills between their houses.

One day, Mr. Black wants to visit Mr. Brown. He opens the door and walks outside. Then he closes the door. He goes up the hill and he goes down the hill. Up the hill and down the hill. Up the hill and down the hill. Then he goes up the hill and down the hill. The he gets to Mr. Brown's house. He knocks on the door.(Knock. Knock. Knock) Is anybody home? (Knock. Knock. Knock.) Is anybody home? Nobody is home, so he has to go home. He goes up the hill and he goes down the hill. Up the hill and down the hill. Up the hill and down the hill. Then he goes up the hill and down the hill. The he gets to his own house. He opens the door and walks inside. Then he closes the door.

The next day, Mr. Brown wants to visit Mr. Black. He opens the door and walks outside. Then he closes the door. He goes up the hill and he goes down the hill. Up the hill and down the hill. Up the hill and down the hill. Then he goes up the hill and down the hill. The he gets to Mr. Black's house. He knocks on the door.(Knock. Knock. Knock) Is anybody home? (Knock. Knock. Knock.) He gives Mr. Black a phone call and they decide to visit each other again.

Then they go up the hill and down the hill. Finally, they see each other. They talk and talk very happily. Now they have to go home. They go up the hill and down the hill. Then they close the door.

A DIY Girl(2 pieces of newspaper)

There is a DIY girl. She wants to go out for fun, but it is raining outside. Her mother says, "it's raining. You will get wet. Don't go out." (Is it a problem to the girl? No, not at all, because she is a DIY girl.) The girl says, "It's ok. I can make a rain hat." She makes a rain hat and then goes out for fun. Oh, no. There is a fire in the forest down the hill. What can she do? Can she help to put out the fire? What does she need? (Is it a problem to the girl? No, not at all, because she is a DIY girl.) The girl says, "It's ok. I can make a hose and a fireman's hat." She makes a hose and a fireman's hat and puts out the fire.

Oh, no, the girl's uncle is on the hill. He is in trouble. He can't go down the hill because he is too old and everywhere is full of water. The girl has to save her uncle. (Is it a problem to the girl? No, not at all, because she is a DIY girl.) She makes a ladder and a boat. (She climbs up the hill and gets her uncle down the hill. Then they row the boat. Row row row your boat....) Oh, no. The boat hits a rock. And the boat loses a part of it. Oh, no, the boat hits another rock and loses another part of it. What can they do? They can't row the boat anymore. (Is it a problem to the girl? No, not at all, because she is a DIY girl.) Ha....They've got a life coat. They are safe.

Super Bunny

There are a witch mother and a witch daughter living on the tree. They are very smelly because they never take a shower. They are very bad and they have no friends. One day, The witch mother goes out and leave the witch daughter home alone. The witch's house is on fire, so Super Bunny and other piglets come to help her. Unluckily, Super Bunny gets hurt. The witch daugher doesn't care about Super Bunny. The other piglets say, "You can be good. You can be good. Just take a shower and change your dirty clothes." The witch daughter says, "No, I don't want to be good." The piglets take Super Bunny home. Later on, the witch daughter comes. (Knock. Knock. Knock) Who is it? It's me, the witch daughter. Come in. Why are you here? I want to be good. I want to be good. I really want to be good. Can you help me? The piglets say, "You can be good. You can be good. Just take a shower and change your dirty clothes." The witch daughter tells herself: "I want to be good. I want to be good. I really want to be good." She takes a shower and changes her clothes. Now she is clean and pretty. What else can she do if she wants to be good? Yes, she can plant some flowers. She plants the flowers in the field. Wow. Now she is really really good. But the witch mother comes home and stands on her flowers. The witch mother says, "You are not good. You are not good. You are a witch. You can't be good." The witch daughter says, "But Mama, I want to be good. I want to be good. I really really want to be good. Mama, you can be good. You can be good. Just take a shower." Then, they start to fight. The witch mother pulls the witch daughter's hair and says, "Come with me." The piglets and Super Bunny pull her arms and bite the witch mother's leg and say, "Stay with us." In the end, Super Bunny won. The witch daughter stays with Super Bunny and becomes really good.

Lazy Jack

Jack is very lazy. He doesn't like to go to school. He doesn't want to study, so his mother tells him: Then you have to work. Jack starts to work on the farm. He makes one dollar and he is very happy. He puts the money in his hand and goes home happily. But when he gets home, his money is gone. Mom tells him: "You are good for nothing. Next time, put it in your pocket." Then Jack goes back to the farm to work. This time he gets milk. He puts it in his pocket and goes home happily. But when he gets home, his milk is gone. Mom tells him: "You are good for nothing. Next time, put it on your head." Then Jack goes back to the farm to work. This time he gets eggs. He puts it on his head and goes home happily. But when he gets home, his egg is gone. Mom tells him: "You are good for nothing. Next time, put it on your hands." Then Jack goes back to the farm to work. This time he gets a cat. He puts it on his hands and goes home happily. But when he gets home, his cat is gone. Mom tells him: "You are good for nothing. Next time, tie it up." Then Jack goes back to the farm to work. This time he gets meat. he ties it up and goes home happily. But when he gets home, his meat is gone. The dog eats it. Mom tells him: "You are good for nothing. Next time, put it on your shoulder." Then Jack goes back to the farm to work. This time he gets a donkey. he puts it on his shoulder and goes home happily. It is very heavy, but Jack remembers what his mother tells him. On his way home, everybody laughs at him, but he doesn't care. He meets a princess. The rich princess never smiles, but when she sees Jack with a donkey on his shoulder, she laughs. The king promises that the one who can make the princess smile can marry his daughter, so Jack marries the princess. This time, Jack's mother doesn't say, "You are good for nothing" but "You are good for something."

The Diamond

Women like diamond and men like cars. Is it true? Besides women, who likes diamond? (Show the picture) It's the thief. The thief likes diamond, too. When you see a thief, what do you do? You can the police, right. You dial 911 and tell the police that you see a thief. Then the police come. (Knock. Knock. Knock.) "Open the door. Open the door." "Who's it?" "Someone calls the 911 and says that there is a thief. Now open the door." (The door is opened, but it's not a thief but a lady(show the picture.))

The Balloon Doctor

Girl: I am bored.

Mom: Why don't you watch TV?

Girl: Mom, I am bored. I don't want to watch TV.

Mom: Why don't you play games?

Girl: Mom, I am bored. I don't want to play games.

Mom: I have an idea. You can blow a balloon.

Girl: Good. (老師邊吹氣球 邊問Do you want it to be big? Bigger? Bigger? Do you want it to be popped? 吹爆)

Mom: What's wrong?

Girl: My balloon pops. (從地上撿起碎片)

Mom: Let's call Balloon Doctor.

Then they call the balloon hospital and they send an ambulance.

The ambulance sends the balloon to the balloon hospital.

The balloon doctor says, "This is too bad." (Does it need an injection? No. Does it need an operation?) It needs an operation.

The balloon doctor uses the knife and starts to do the operation. Is one hour long enough? No, it's not enough. Is two hour long enough to do the operation? No, it's not enough. How long does it take to do the operation? Three hours? Four hours? The situation is really really bad. Five hours....

(Show a complete balloon) After five hours, the doctor saves the balloon. The mother and the daughter ask the doctor: how much is the operation? The balloon say, "I only want a smile, not money."
